DMX MUSIC INCREASES PLAYBACK CAPACITY OF PROFUSION D TO 30 HOURS

New expanded capacity provides longer playlists and more music style options

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, January 04, 2005 — DMX MUSIC, the industry leading provider of integrated music, messaging and video marketing services and technologies, today announced the increase in playback capacity on its ProFusion D platform from 20 to 30 hours. Immediately available to new and existing customers the increased capacity reaffirms the customer commitment to a premier listening experience that differentiates DMX MUSIC.

According to Mark Rozells, President and CEO, DMX MUSIC, ProFusion D now stores more hours of music than any other CD-ROM playback unit on the market. “ProFusion D was the first to provide 20 hours of playback to business clients,” Rozells said today. “Now, by increasing the capacity by a further 50% we’re providing our clients with the most robust, commercial music CD-ROM-based platform upon which to deliver the industry’s most comprehensive, well-engineered music choices for onsite playback. Clients will now be able to receive more style choice, longer playlists, and less repetition, without spending additional dollars.”

As a result of the ProFusion D enhancement and DMX MUSIC’s proprietary CD buffering technology, the disc now only spins once every three hours - further extending the life of the equipment and increasing its reliability. ProFusion D may also be used to deliver on-hold messaging, allowing businesses to keep callers on the line with compelling marketing information without the need for additional equipment. Clients can supply their own pre-recorded messages or work with DMX MUSIC’s experienced messaging department to create custom messages including copywriting, voiceover and production. Depending on their specific needs, DMX MUSIC will issue updated discs featuring new music and messaging directly to customers in 30-, 60- or 90-day intervals.

With the enhanced programming capacity, ProFusion D clients now have more music styles available to them. Each ProFusion D title features non-stop, interruption-free music in styles ranging from country, jazz and rock to urban, classical and hot hits. Some of the new ProFusion D styles available include Glow, Retro Disco, CityScapes, Jump ‘n Jive and Vixens.
