DMX MUSIC AND AMF BOWLING CENTERS STRIKE A DEAL:
WORLD’S FIRST APPLICATION OF DMX MUSIC’S NEW IMPACT SERVICE
OF DIGITAL SIGNAGE AND AUDIO & VIDEO PROGRAMMING

Leader In Music and Video Programming To Work With
Largest Bowling Center Operator In The World.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, March 28, 2005 — DMX MUSIC (www.dmxmusic.com), the worldwide leader in music and video programming for commercial applications, today announced an exclusive agreement with AMF Bowling Centers (AMF) to deliver first-of-its-kind video programming and digital signage to its locations. DMX MUSIC will provide the AMF centers with entertaining audio and visual communications via their revolutionary new IMPact (Integrated Media Promotions that amuse, communicate and train) solution. With IMPact, AMF will intensify the bowling experience they provide guests using full-motion video, digital signage, customized party entertainment and signature Xtreme Bowling video entertainment.

Today’s announcement marks the first commercial application of DMX MUSIC’s IMPact solution and builds on the already successful relationship between DMX MUSIC and AMF. DMX MUSIC currently provides AMF with enhanced turnkey music programming. By expanding its service, AMF is the first commercial franchise to incorporate the full range of IMPact services provided by DMX MUSIC. The IMPact solution includes brand imaging, music and customized messaging along with compelling digital signage, full-motion video, on-screen advertising and Stimuleye, DMX MUSIC’s proprietary selection of unique visual images and ‘eye-candy’.

“It was natural that we turn to DMX MUSIC for help in building a comprehensive video entertainment package for our popular Xtreme® bowling events and special functions,” said Simon Shearer, Senior Vice President, Facilities and Design at AMF. “We are constantly looking for ways to differentiate AMF and provide our customers with a bowling experience unlike any other. DMX MUSIC’s dynamic IMPact solution is an impressive suite of integrated audio and visual services that allows us to both entertain and effectively communicate with our customers.”

The benefits of IMPact extend beyond entertainment. IMPact can quickly and efficiently manage and distribute changes to in-store signage at all facilities from a single point. This eliminates the expenses involved with traditional signage. IMPact also provides a convenient method for training and educating employees across the country. In addition, suppliers who advertise on IMPact will reap the benefits of a tremendous new opportunity to target their key audience directly at the point of purchase in an attention-grabbing manner.

“This is a landmark announcement for DMX MUSIC that promises to re-energize and excite retail, hospitality and entertainment center atmospherics,” said Mark Rozells, President and CEO, DMX MUSIC. “As AMF is the first customer to use the IMPact solution, we are anxious to show the world just how impressive this new offering really is. We believe that the video programming and digital signage package we’ve created for AMF is perfectly suited for its business and the burgeoning Xtreme® bowling fan base. IMPact has the power to accelerate and extend the marketing success of bowling centers, but also stores, hotels and gyms, making them more engaging, better targeted and ultimately more successful.”

The IMPact solution is made possible by ProFusion M5: an all-in-one, easy-to-use platform that simultaneously can support and incorporate multiple visual elements on a single display. ProFusion M5 works seamlessly with most existing audio and video systems and allows AMF managers to easily schedule music and messaging based on the time of day or for seasonal promotions to provide client-specific programming. Content can be updated via Ethernet or via disc sent via mail each month. Most importantly, ProFusion M5 ensures AMF managers will be able to provide timely and relevant custom messages based on their location’s special events.

Unique to DMX MUSIC, AMF will have the ability to work directly with DMX MUSIC on the development and acquisition of all content elements, from custom Macromedia® Flash™ animation to multiple music styles, music videos or custom-produced features. DMX MUSIC’s industry-leading creative team will work to develop programming that can either be custom-designed using original content or developed from existing promotional elements.

Rozells commented further, “AMF has invested so much time and money into making their bowling centers some of the finest available today. Their decision to move forward using our new IMPact services shows that AMF is actively committed to creating a fun and exciting atmosphere to accompany their high-quality lanes and facilities.”
