DMX MUSIC LAUNCHES WITH MeTV NETWORKS CONTINUING GLOBAL EXPANSION

DMX MUSIC Launches As MeTV Networks Exclusive Commercial-Free Music Provider


Los Angeles (May 6, 2002) - DMX MUSIC, the global leader in creating personal music entertainment experiences for homes and businesses, today announced it has entered a strategic, global affiliation agreement with MeTV Networks, Inc., the leading broadband television service. The pact initially will bring 45 DMX MUSIC channels into the homes of MeTV subscribers worldwide.

DMX MUSIC offers MeTV diverse music genres ranging from hottest hits, country and jazz to classical, world music, hip hop and salsa. As a result of the agreement, 50,000 homes in North America, in cities including New York and Los Angeles, will now enjoy DMX MUSIC channels. More than a half-a-million homes will receive DMX MUSIC in the next few years, as MeTV expands its subscriber base in North America, Asia and Europe.

MeTV offers the best sports, news, entertainment and music programming to target audiences around the world. MeTV also offers subscribers movies, live television and music on-demand. Under this new agreement, 45 music channels will be provided via DMX MUSIC’s digital downlink to MeTV Networks broadband transmission platform, from a single transponder, with minimal head end equipment. DMX MUSIC will provide on-screen graphics including title, track and artist for every song as it is playing.
